Antique silver plated creamer and open sugar bowl, beaded rims. Marked as made for Leiter Brothers, Syracuse, N.Y. They were a jeweler and piano and music store in Syracuse, now forgotten except for their enduring claim to fame, which was being one of the first publishers to print Scott Joplin's music, specifically "A Picture of Her Face” was published by the Leiter Bros., in Syracuse, on July 3, 1895. The creamer measures six inches from handle to handle, two and one eighths inches high, and the sugar measures 7 inches across the handles, 2.25 inches high.
Overall good for age and type, some wear on the high points in a coupe places on the sugar bowl, some finish peeling on the inner handle of the creamer. Freshly hand polished.
