These are popular today to use as dessert forks, acquiring in multiples Lately they are being described as a chipped beef fork, no such thing, someone misunderstood cold beef fork, and others copied it, and now it's everywhere. A cold beef fork was for serving pieces of cold, sliced meats at the luncheon table, and was short for use on a small platter, and for better serving small, dense pieces of sliced meats.
