Vintage Depression era glass set of eight 8.25 inch plates, Imperial Glass company, their Quilted pattern in the hard to find Ice Blue, which is a light, bright turquoise well suited for today. This size plate was sold as a luncheon plate then but is what we think of as a salad plate today. I have bread plates and salad and open sugar bowl listed today as well, my own inherited from an aunt. I find that despite their being my favorite color, I have not used them with my china, and want to get them into a home where they will be enjoyed. Excellent condition with NO issues. Two have a few TINY short utensil or contact marks, and one has three short ones on the underside, but five look as though they never saw use. I suspect a couple acquired these for their wedding, then never had children or otherwise used more than the two on the top of the stack. I seldom see glass from this era in this pristine condition.
Due to size of box once bubble wrapped and boxed safely, please note that the package will be oversized according to post office limits on box size, and the shipping for this item is going to be Oversize category for destinations far West or South of my Northeast location, so please check shipping costs on this page before deciding to buy, as shipping costs, while actual cost only, will rise sharply for those destinations, though not for destinations closer in to a midpoint of the country.
