Very vintage to antique, 1910s through early 1920s, American Belleek, Ceramic Art Company, Lenox mark, after Lenox took over. Tea set consisting of a teapot with lid, sugar bowl with lid, and creamer, all the desirable square plinth pedestal shape, cream color accented with hand painted gold.
The teapot is in excellent condition with no issues. It has some wear to the gilding ONLY on the one side of the tip of the finial of the lid as shown; otherwise intact, including the spout and deep inner lid rim. The price is for the teapot.
The sugar bowl has wear to the gilding on the finial top as shown. It has wear to one corner of the square plinth, and a wide swath missing from one side of the wide band, see photo of the sugar bow to view all.
The creamer has wear to the gilding along the rim, and a clumsy attempt at touching up the wide gold band, both shown in the photo of the creamer. The gilt on the plinth is intact.
Again, I am pricing this solely for the teapot. The sugar and creamer are in perfect condition as to their bodies, the issue is solely the gilding. If you do not plan to restore them, and want to delete those pieces, please let me know in the Message portion of the Purchase Order, and I will delete them and refund the then excess shipping, since that will effect shipping cost to a great degree. Due to size once bubble wrapped and boxed, please note that the package will be oversized according to post office limits on box size, and the shipping for this item is going to be Oversize category for destinations far West or South of my Northeast location, so please check shipping costs on this page before deciding to buy, as shipping costs, while actual cost only, will rise sharply for those destinations, though not for destinations closer in to a midpoint of the country.
