Antique, circa 1910 to about 1925, filet crocheted roses motif lace set of lace insertion trim for a German style bedding linens set, finished but never used. A bed for two, at that time, in much of Europe, used two one person duvets, so there are two trims for each duvet, measuring 52 inches wide, and 18 inches down each side. There are two pairs of that same shape or configuration for two pairs of European style shams, one pair larger and one pair slightly smaller, for the four pillows, the larger measures 29 inches wise and 31.5 inches down the sides and the smaller 25 inches across and 27 inches down the sides. And, we have three square insertion pieces, for throw pillows which would have lined up in front of the two pairs of pillows, to look pretty by day, and support the back when breakfasting in bed. These measure 27 x 26 just off square. Excellent condition all. Found never used or laundered, but I have soaked, hand laundered, and lightly pressed them, to ensure they would be perfect once cleaned, and they are. You will need to press them to exact sizes prior to sewing them to anything, to make the filet mesh flat and even.
