Charming French bronze chamber stick embellished with a lovely handpainted tile. The bronze has a wonderful gold gilded finish which is beautifully engraved. The candle cup which has fabulous detailing has a removable bobeche. The tile has handpainted details in all four corners.Two scenic reserves have been painted with exquisite detail. Each cartouche has raised gold enameling and a floral design as accent. The stand has four raised paw feet. The chamber stick measures 6" long by 3.5" deep. It is in excellent condition and dates to the 19th century. Lots of detail on this unusual and beautiful piece.
