What a wonderful group this is!! This is a 14" tall composition Mary Hoyer doll. She is marked on her upper back "The - Mary Hoyer - Doll". She has a medium brown wig that has been pulled to one side. It is held up with a hair pin. She has blue sleep eyes with lashes. Her lower lashes are painted. Her eye shadow is intact. She has rosy cheeks. Her eyebrows are nice. All of her fingers and toes have the original "polish". She is wearing nylon pajamas with pink slippers. There is a flower that is attached to her waist at the string. She is 14" tall x approximately 4-1/4" wide x approximately 2-3/4" deep.
She has several crocheted and knitted outfits. They are: 1) red and white skating dress with underpants, a hat, and 1 mitten; 2) dark blue full pants/top, skirt with straps, a stole, and hat; 3) a peach skating dress with underpants and a hat; 4) white with purple skating skirt and bolero; 5) light blue skating skirt with a short sleeved sweater and hat; 6) brown pants with a jacket (has a stain on the back that I can send a picture) and hat; 7) a green coat with a dark red hat; 8) a pink skating dress; and 9) a white skating dress. The white yarn that was used as accents on these pieces is angora. There are a pair of oil cloth ice skates. There are also 2 bouquets of cloth flowers to use as hair or clothing accessories. There are 6 Dolly's Pride U.S.A. hard plastic hangers. And there is a hard plastic see through pink beaded brush and actual mirror. These do not have any marks.
The trunk has a string tag that reads "An Exclusive - Mary Hoyer - Product - Manufactured by The - Mary Hoyer - Doll Mfg. Co.". The back of the tag is blank. This trunk has a drawer and 2 metal places to hang clothes. It does have a string to hold the doll in the case, but one end has pulled loose. This trunk is 16-3/8" tall x 9-3/4" wide x 9" deep when it is closed. The latches do work.
All of these items have been played with through the years. The doll has a 1/4" crack on the back of her left leg that can be seen in picture #8. There is a small flake spot by the word "doll" on her back that can be seen in picture #5. There is a small line by her right arm that can be seen in picture #7.
The trunk has a stain on the inside over the drawer that can be seen in picture #3. In picture #9 you can see that one of the metal corners has been taped to the trunk. There are a couple of nicks and dings from being moved around.
The clothes have been used. Some of the buttons are missing, and some of the stitches are pulled. They could use a bit of TLC!!
I took many more pictures if you need close ups of anything. Please email!!
