I acquired a small collection of dolls. This is the only bisque head doll that was included. She is marked on the back of her head "11 1/2 - 99 - Dep - Germany - H - 3". According to my research, this is a Heinrich Handwerck doll. She is from the turn of the last century. I pulled the masking tape off that you see in the picture of her marked head. She has a 15 part ball jointed composition body that is not marked. I believe all of her clothing and wig are newer but still vintage. She has a brown wig with ringlet curls. It is marked on the inside "11" on a white tag. Her eyes are set brown glass. She has painted lashes. She has an open mouth with 4 white teeth. Only 2 show up in the picture - I can send a picture of all 4 teeth. She has pierced ears. I do not think the earrings are original. She is wearing a pink and white dotted swiss dress. She has on an underskirt, a slip, and pantaloons. She has darker pink shoes with pink bows. The finish has crackled on these shoes. She has tissue paper stuffed into her head with a harder cap on top for the wig to fit. With her clothes and wig on she is 21" tall x 7" wide at the hands x approximately 4" deep.

The bisque head on this doll is in nice condition. There are no cracks or chips. The body has wear to the composition at the joints where the pieces rub together. Picture #9 shows the worst compo damage. This is her left hip socket. I pulled her leg out to show the damage. When she is in a regular position - see the picture of her without her clothes - this is not nearly as noticeable. At one point in time she had nail polish on her fingers and toes. This is mostly gone now. However, she does have all of her fingers and toes. She has a small tear in her dress. I can send a picture of this also. I have other pictures of the composition damage that is much less than the picture I have above. All of the composition damage is at the joints where the pieces rubbed together. This is common with these 15 part ball jointed bodies.
