This is an unusual shape for a German souvenir china piece. It is a trinket or powder box. It has a scene of "Prospect Point Niagara Falls". It is ink stamped on the bottom "Germany" as you can see in pictures #9 and #10. It is impressed "2216 - II (?)" I think. You can kind of see this in the last picture. This box has a cobalt "flow blue" edge with gold flowers on the lid and the base that meet in the middle. The base has 4 molded feet. This box is 2-1/8" tall with the lid. It has a 3-1/4" diameter.
Unfortunately it does have a chip on the lid that is just over 1/16" wide. It could be touched up with gold paint. This can be seen in picture #4.
