This pitcher is in the "Grazing Cows" pattern or blue and white stoneware. It is just under 8" tall x 8-1/4" wide at the spout to the handle. It has a 5-5/8" diameter at the base. On both sides towards the bottom there are white spots that look like chips. These were actually done during the manufacturing process. They are glazed.
This pitcher was used. There are scuffs and scratches. The biggest chip is about 1/4" on the inner edge at the top. This pitcher is crazed. These pieces were cheap and sold in dimestores. They were rough to start with.
