In the background is a mountain range. The painting is framed in wood with a metal spacer between it and the canvas. On the back is gallery information. It appears that the piece was shown in a gallery in Bangkok, Thailand. There are four of these painting, each depicting Southeastern Asian women in village costumes of the hill tribes of Northern Thailand and bordering countries. These will be listed separately. The image size of this piece is 16" x 23" and the framed size is 20" x 28". Condition is very good to excellent. The piece is initialed in the lower right as shown in the photos.
