Very ornate Victorian era brush with repousse work overall the silverplated frame and featuring putti, birds, flowers and leaf elements. This lovely brush has natural bristles, not plastic, probably boar's, and dates to the late 19th or early 20th century. The overall length is 10" and the width of the brush itself is approximately 2 3/8". Condition is good. There is some loss of plate around the border nearest the bristles. Makes a stunning addition to a mirrored dressing table or tray.
