An intricately woven textile featuring silver metallic threads and dancing figures which appear to be southeast Asian, probably Thai or Cambodian. The runner or perhaps it is an obi type garment that wraps around the body, is equally beautiful on both sides. On one side the threads appear silver and on the other gold and all the fabric surrounding it is tightly woven in reddish orange thread. Overall length of the piece is approx. 152" and width is 12". There are tears or other flaws save for a few pulled threads here and there or a small spot. There are also two stamps on the reverse side near the end, one circular and one rectangular. Mostly in wonderful condition, having been well cared for throughout its existence.
