Lovely carved giltwood mirror with a frame incorporating many classical elements--leaves, vines, an arbor, a shell at the top and scrolling elements surrounding it. This fabulous mirror has gold paint incorporated into the finish which is a rather subdued one, not flashy at all, and as such, should complement most any decor where an important looking mirror is in good taste. The condition is good and th mirror dates to the 1930s or 40s. The size is approximately 48" tall and 28" wide. It is quite heavy, probably weighing 40 or more pounds. Perfect in a grand entry way or over-the-mantle, as shown. Makes a dramatic statement wherever you decide to hang it and compatible with many styles with its transitional flourishes.
No shipping outside the continental U.S. The buyer can pick up the mirror at my mall location or it can be shipped. I will be happy to provide names of several shipping companies here in Atlanta who are reputable and will provide an estimate for shipping.
