Brass wire forms the intricate twists and turns in this Etruscan inspired bracelet dating from the early 20th century. The bracelet is approx. 7.25" long and with the clasps added it reaches 8.5". Width is approx. 1". The bracelet has a row of solid beads set in twisted wire circles resembling tiny flowers running down the center of the bracelet. This beaded ridge is flanked by interlocking wishbones on either sides and finally wire arches running the length of both sides of the bracelet and topped by a trio of brass beads. The bracelet is unmarked and could have come from the near east. Whatever its origin, it is fine piece of workmanship and a bold, elegant design.
