Not sure whether this is 18 or 19th century but it is hallmarked, and those who collect pewter will probably identify it. It is an unusual shape with its square, pedestal base and cup-like bowl. The salt is about 2.25" tall and 1.25" in diameter. It is in fair condition, having seen much use. The exterior is decorated with what appear to be oak leaves with some stippling detail, and inside the bowl is the hallmark.
