Exquisite early 1900s art glass vase with threaded glass overlaying the body in an elaborate web of applied glass that seems to melt into the surface. The color of this beautiful base is a rich moss green with iridescent tones of amethyst when exposed to the light. The base is ground and there is no signature. The handles are applied and the rim is rolled out on the top. There is a small flaw on the rim. There are a couple of oblong chips next to the handle but not affecting the handle on the surface. These may be smoothed out by a very skillful glass repair person. There are also a few of the fragile little threads which have been bumped against something and damaged. On the overall beauty and condition of the vase, these small flaws do not detract significantly. The size of the vase is 4" high and about 6" in diameter at the widest point which is the bulbous center.
