Wonderful circa 1950 Can-Can Girl from the Moulin Rouge, France. This watercolor on black artist's paper depicts one of the high-kicking dancers in a stylized rendering by an artist whose name appears to be Huertez. It is signed in the upper left corner. Underneath the dancer with her petticoats and knickers flashing is Moulin Rouge. I have already listed another of these watercolors; they are newly framed and read to hang. Frame size is 24" long and 20" wide. There is a wide mat but the image size showing is 14" long and 10" wide. The actual artist's paper that it is painted on is bigger but since it is now covered, I don't have the exact size of the paper.
