Wonderful circa 1950 Can-Can Girl from the Moulin Rouge, France. This watercolor on black artist's paper depicts one of the high-kicking dancers in a stylized rendering by an artist whose name appears to be Huertez. It is signed in the upper left corner. Underneath the dancer with her petticoats and knickers flashing is Moulin Rouge. I have two of these watercolors; they are newly framed and ready to hang. The framed size is approx. 24" x 20" and the image size is 14" long x 10" wide. That is the image actually showing. The watercolor is painted on a piece of black artist's paper and it is somewhat larger but I don't have the exact dimensions.
