Beautiful and elegant, this heavy, cut crystal glove box is hinged in the back and has numerous cut flowers and leaves and other embellishments on the lid, sides and base to showcase the glassmaker's art. The glove box has survived unscathed since the late 19th or early 20th century. The piece is in near mint condition and has no major flaws. I cannot find a signature, but I do have a drawing of an identical one in an old brilliant period cut glass catalogue for Pairpoint. This lovely piece is approximately 11" long, 4.5" wide and 3.5" high. What a perfect gift for a very special person.
