Watercolor village scene done in the 1960s of a Central American village, most likely Mexico, in appealing, bright colors. The twin church towers are the focal point with tiled roof houses and the street below shown in pleasing perspective. This painting was acquired here in Atlanta. The son of the couple who purchased it, told me that his parents had traveled in Central and South American when he was a boy and it had been hanging in their house for as long as he could remember. It is one of a pair by the same artist, Rosaias, I believe, (can't read signature) and I will be listing the other tomorrow. The frame is in good condition as is the print.
