Dresden has captured the essence of the flower garden in this beautiful small basket decorated inside and out with tiny blossoms on pure white porcelain and with numerous gold accents. The front and back of the basket are decorated with tiny floral sprays framed by single color garlands in pink, yellow, and blue encircling the basket. The frames are rocaille designs with many flourishes, reminiscent of Louis XV ornamentation. As a bonbon basket or holder of sugar, this tiny treasure would be a magnificent addition to a formal table. Or add luxury to any room with this special accessory. This mark was used by the E. Germany Thuringia factory of Schoenau Bros. circa 1887 to 1920.
