Group of 3 Mexican Cloth Dolls ~ 9-10" - image 1 of 6

I guess we could call these a small mariachi band? They were sold via the Kimport Catalog in the 40's and 50s...a mail order company that sold dolls made all over the globe. They are made of cloth with pin jointed arms...the heads and arms were painted heavily and then when dry the cute features were painted. The 2 musicians have wooden instruments attached. The gal is dressed nicely and has even got lace trimmed panties. They all wear huaraches on their feet.
Considering their age, the condition is very good...straw hats a bit bent...overall darkening of fabrics...but no stains.
