We have offered here a marvelous Antique Seth Thomas Pillar Ogee Clock. This one has a painted metal dial with a double glass panel door. The top panel has a clear glass pane for viewing the clock, while the bottom has a fabulous painted scene of flowers, which is in very good condition considering the age. The clock is in good working condition with a coil chime which strikes the hour only. This one is weight driven and is an early 30 hour clock. The Half Column Case style used on this clock probably dates to the 1862 or later period. The case has been "refinished" at one time with an all over brown stain, and some replaced veneer. The clock is in good running condition, and the dial has a fair amount of paint missing. This one makes a good example of an early Seth Thomas Clock.
