This is a beautiful bowl of 7 1/4 inches diameter and 2 1/2 inches in height. It is a two piece mold. It truly is a fun piece to glaze upon as it really appears to be of clear glass, but the deep cuts of the pattern yield a fantastic electric green edging throughout. That electric green is a result of uranium. Now for the pattern; per my on-line source, it goes by two names: Little Jewel or Diamond Block. The pattern features large diamonds intersected by deep double grooves with smaller diamonds at the intersection points. The edge of the bowl is serrated. A starburst decorates the bottom base.
A ruler will help visualize the bowl, but it is just right for cranberry sauce, side fruits or veggies. It is very pretty under light, so it will also serve nicely as a display piece.
I see no condition flaws to report. It is excellent with no chips, cracks, etching or clouding.
As per the title - made in the 1920ds and 1930s by Imperial.
