This c.1890's art glass vase is very nicely executed with applied clear satin glass crimped feet, and a pulled and twisted jack-in-the-pulpit flower form design.
The craftsmanship of this piece is quite superior to many souvenir pieces. It was certainly made by a high-end glass manufacturer.
It has a beautiful fiery opalescence when held to the light, with a vivid lemon yellow cased top.
The glass is smooth as silk and in pristine condition.
The front is marked "From Niagara", so it was probably bought in the Niagara Falls, NY area around the turn of the century.
DIMENSIONS: 5.5" tall x 5" at widest point x 3.75" from foot to foot.
