From what I have found in my research, this vintage Rican tube radio was produced in Japan in the 1960's and appears to be quite scarce. This one, for its age, is in really nice condition. I plugged it in and let it warm up and it does light up the way its suppose to. I was able to bring in a couple of AM stations but I'm not sure what other capabilities the radio has. There was some static with the volume button initially but after it warmed up, the static was gone. The overall condition of the plastic case is in really nice condition. No chips or cracks. The pressboard like backing on the rear of the radio is fully intact. It is missing one of the knob controls so I've taken that into consideration when pricing. For the older radio enthusiast, you're getting an awesome piece of vintage radio history. It's quite a heavy piece so I'll take extra care when packing. The overall length is around 16 1/2 inches.
