This beautiful little Seth Thomas travelers clock stands 5 1/8 inches tall and is made of brass with an enameled face and gilt lettering. This 4 jeweled clock commemorates the 62nd anniversary of the Travelers Insurance Company of Hartford Connecticut and is dated April 1, 1926. The blue enameled face is in perfect condition. I was told at the time of purchase that this clock hadn't been running in quite a few years so when I got it home I was really surprised to find that it wasn't over wound and it wound up quite freely. I did about half a dozen winds and got nothing so I thought there might be a problem. I gave the back brass mechanism case a few taps with a metal ruler and jiggered around with the hand set button and it sprung to life. It ran for almost 9 hours and kept perfect time so I'm listing this as a working clock, although the new owner may want to take it to a clocksmith and have it opened and cleaned. For the clock collector, especially Seth Thomas, this is a sweet little clock and a must have for your collection.
