Vintage late 1980s pierced-post earrings are made with two Gold-plated (Brass) rings (hoops), the larger one swings from the smaller ring which has the post on back. The pair has Black and Maroon (or some call it Burgundy) enamel applied by hand and the earrings have been fired and sealed to keep the layered enamel color glossy and intact. The earrings measure a tiny bit shorter than 1 7/8" and largest hoop measures just over 3/4" in diameter. I added secure "comfort clutches" findings to aid with comfort and balance while wearing. The earrings are "New, Old Stock", delivered on original store display card (Fashion Earrings).
You also get a bonus pair of post earrings when you purchase the above described pair. The "bonus pair" comes as a FREE gift and will be shipped in same box as 1st pair. The bonus pair is also "New, Old Stock", however date to late 1970s or early 80s. These are made with lightweight Aluminum (sheet) which has been enameled in the two colors of Black and Burgundy (Maroon) and curls formed by gently rolling the aluminum sheet into the soft curves. These earrings measure about 1 3/4 long by 1" wide and are very lightweight to wear.
Both pairs of earrings shipped to you in a gift box.
