From Sweden, a green ball vase designed by Berndt Friberg fot Gustavberg. The vase is 3½ inches tall and about the same in diameter. On the bottom, it's incised with Friberg , M, and a hand. The vase has a beautiful Aniara glaze in green and both dark and light browns. There is a small crack on the upper lip of the vase, best seen in the third picture . This flaw is reflected in the price. Friberg's work is highly sought-after and fetches very high prices.
