This magnificent vintage Egyptian Revival Necklace speaks volumes. Dating back to the 1980's, this King Tut runway piece was said to have been purchased from Neiman Marcus. The center piece measures 3 1/8 inches long by 3 inches wide and is composed of a rich gold-toned metal, and is totally surrounded by bright, shiny rhinestones. The necklace, measuring 19 inches long, is composed of clear lucite round beads and gold-toned round beads. The inside strand of gold-toned beads have rhinestones in between them. Dividing the clear beads and the gold-toned beads are huge 1 inch faceted lucite stones in gorgeous shades of turquoise, amethyst, light yellow and pink. Finishing off the necklace is a beautiful gold-toned toggle clasp. Unmarked and dated back to the 1980's, this necklace is in very good vintage condition. There is some slight wear around the gold-toned beads, but the beads can be rotated so that this will not show at all. I do not see that this in any way distracts from the beauty and quality of this stunning, simply glamorous piece.
