Featured here is an absolutely stunning Lanvin Paris Modernist Haute Couture Pendant Necklace. This is one, if not the, most beautiful Lanvin piece that I have ever seen. I would classify the color as being between a lipstick and cherry red. The color is very elegant. It is a very large and substantial piece of jewelry that really makes a statement, in its own simplistic way. Measuring 3 1/8 inches long (3 1/2 if you include the bail), 2 1/2 inches wide and 3/4 inch thick, This pendant is huge. It is composed of the finest quality lucite and the design of the pendant is very unique. Although the pendant is one complete piece, the front looks to be made of four equal squares, all at varying levels, adding so much volume and dimension to it. It is so simplistic, yet so very interesting. The bail is gold-toned and accompanying it is a thick (almost 1 inch round) 20 inch long serpentine gold-tone chain. It is estimated that this piece dates back to the 1970s, but not older than the 1980s. Marked Lanvin Paris, this piece is in excellent vintage condition.
