An incredible white or pot metal pot metal antique necklace with lots of cut work filigree and multi-level construction with soldered leaves and flowers on the top level. The bib front has five sections to it including three drops from the bottom of the large center section. All of the square blue glass pastes are open back and the foil back faceted glass rhinestones are glued in around the center square stone set on an angle as a diamond shape. The center section is also flanked by two stations with the same square stones and multi-level construction. Two tones of blue are used in the necklace and the V spring and box closure has a matched blue glass rhinestone. The neck length is a generous 17 inches and the drop is three inches long with the three separate drops giving the piece a lot of movement. The decorative front section spans 4 ½” and the chain sections are rolo link with an impressed design in the links. In excellent condition, this lovely vintage necklace surprisingly has no marks, but is very likely and old West Germany creation. Beautiful, ornate and regal looking, this necklace is highly collectible and very wearable!
