This fabulous 40s ball gown has a very full skirt in colors of chartreuse, pink and black. The top of the gown is solid black with wing cap sleeves and a "V" neckline. The bodice is rouched on the sides of the bust area and the rib cage. The waist dips into an inverted "V" in the middle. There is a 16" side zipper.
The condition is excellent. I only noticed a very light and thin amount of underarm discoloration when searching for anything to note. It is very small and very light, and will never be noticed when the gown is worn. There are no holes, or stains or rips. I did find some slight soil at the hemline inside where the gown dragged along the ground at some point. It also is very light and should launder out.
The measurements of the gown taken laid flat are: bust 17 1/2", waist 14", hips are full and free. Waist to hem is 40". The skirt has a 16 inch sweep. I translate this as a size petite 4.
