This 1930s, art deco, floral printed gown with bat wing sleeves and ruffles is just beautiful. The gown is lined in ivory colored silk chiffon from the shoulders to 10 inches from the hemline. The sleeves are not lined.
The print is busy with flowers and leaves in colors of lilac, pink, yellow, gold, green, fuschia, brown, orange and grey. The dress has it's original belt loops so you can cinch it in at the waist if you want. The original neck weight is still attached at the front which holds the neckline in "V" shape with fullness. There are snaps on one side of the dress from under the arm to just above the waist.
There are no underarm stains, no rips, no tears, no pulls, no picks, and no shredding of the silk. This dress was carefully stored and preserved.
The dress is also a nice size which will fit up to a Petite size 6 comfortably. The measurements taken laid flat and measured straight across are: shoulder to shoulder 15", bust 18 1/4", natural waist 19", hips 21", sleeve length 11", shoulder to hemline 49". The lining measures 39" from the shoulder to it's hem.
This one is a beauty and a good wearable size.
