There are two round cabochon cut Persian turquoise which measures 5.1mm. Surrounding the turquoise are twenty Old Mine cut diamonds which weigh approximately 1.00 carats, with I/J color, SI2-I1 in clarity. Twenty eight Old Mine cut and Old European cut diamonds are set in the stylized bow of varying sizes, with ten bezel set diamonds, one in the center of each bow, and four in graduating sizes down the dangle, I/J in color, SI2-I1 in clarity, approximately 65/100 of a carat. The total diamond weight of the earrings is 1.65 carats, with some wear on a few diamonds, due to their age. The earrings measure 1 1/2 inches from top to bottom; 1/2 inch wide at the top; 3/8 of an inch wide at the bottom. With an appraisal of $7000, these earrings are a great buy. These fabulous earrings are set in tested 18K yellow gold, meaning they have 75% fineness of pure gold. The turquoise is prong set; the diamonds are bead, prong, and bezel set. The posts are threaded with screw back nuts for extra security. The total piece weighs 5.4 grams.
