Here is a magnificent Art Deco double halo ring, circa 1920, with exquisite near colorless diamonds with a halo of sensational French cut emeralds......WOW! What a wonderful engagement/wedding ring this would be. Or if you're an April or May baby, this could be your birthstone ring to wear and enjoy each and every day.
I adore the setting, with diamonds everywhere, down the shoulders, surrounding the emeralds. Fabulous!
There is one round brilliant cut bezel set diamond measuring 4.50 x 2.40mm, weighing approximately 35/100 of a carat, with near COLORLESS G-H color, with a bright sparkling SI2 clarity, and a good cut! There are an additional twenty-four round single cut bezel set diamonds graduating from 1.40 to 1.60mm, weighing approximately 67/100 of a carat, with near colorless G-H color, and brilliant VS1-VS2 clarity. There are sixteen calibre French cut emeralds measuring 1.70 x 1.50mm, weighing approximately 20/100 of a carat, medium dark yellow green of high saturation, with very good intensity, and are well matched. The total diamond weight of the ring is 97/100 of a carat.
The ring is set in a marked & tested platinum tapered shank with a circular tiered crown with mill grained trim accent. The ring measures 3/4 of an inch from east to west, 9/16ths of an inch from top to bottom, and sits up 1/4 of an inch from the finger. Ring size 6, the ring can be easily sized up or down by a good jeweler.
The total piece weighs 5.74 grams.
