Antique Victorian Emerald & Diamond Ring 18K Yellow Gold

What an extraordinary antique Victorian navette ring this is, circa 1880-1901. I adore the gorgeous square emerald cut emerald surrounded by stunning rose cut diamonds. This enchanting ring has lots of history, over one hundred forty years old & I wish it could tell us who has loved it across the decades. There is one green square emerald cut emerald which measures 3.15 x 3.15, weighing approximately 20/100 of a carat. The emerald is bright sparkling light green and well cut. Surrounding the emerald are sixteen 2mm rose cut diamonds weighing approximately 60/100 of a carat, with an additional two rose cut diamonds on each shoulder with a near colorless G-H color and sparkling, brilliant VS2 clarity.

The ring measures 5/8ths of an inch from top to bottom, 1/2 an inch from east to west, & sits up 1/8th of an inch from the finger. Ring size 7.5, the ring can be easily sized up or down by a good jeweler. The ring is set in a tested 18K yellow gold with a white gold top, meaning it has 75% fineness of pure gold. The ring weighs 3.11 grams.
