This is a wonderful 1950's pendant of VS2 Old European cut diamonds & flowers, set in such a charming way. I don't know about you, but I love to wear a pendant each and every day, and this one is particularly delicate & eye-catching, no matter if you have an open blouse, a v neck shirt, dress or a sweater. With the main diamond's VS quality, the diamond really jumps out to catch your eye, no matter which way you turn. What a beautiful pendant and chain!
There is one bezel set round brilliant cut diamond as the flower, weighing approximately 31/100 of a carat, with very bright, sparkly VS2 clarity, and a lovely K/L color. There are four Old European cut diamonds weighing approximately 06/100 of a carat, set in the white gold leaves and one at the top of the S shaped drop. The smaller diamonds are SI2 in clarity, J/K in color. The combination cast & assembled pendant hang from a .75 box link chain, 18 inches long. The piece is both stamped & tested 14K white gold, with 14K yellow gold backing, meaning it has 58.3% fineness of pure gold. The pendant measures 1 1/4 of an inch from top to bottom, 3/8ths of an inch from east to west, and sits up 1/8 of an inch. Circa 1950's, the piece weighs 3.56 grams.
