Antique jewelry object group: ring 'toi et moi'

Country of origin: Although it does not carry any legible control marks we believe this to be of Belgian origin.
Style: Belle Époque
Period: ca. 1900
Theme: Toi et Moi ring - The French call this shape of rings "Toi et Moi" which means "You and me".
Material: Two tones of precious metal, the main part being 18K red gold and the white parts are either white gold or platinum.
Diamond(s): One brilliant cut diamond with an estimated weight of ± 0.44ct. (colour and clarity: H/I, i) and ten rose cut diamonds and senailles. A senaille is a simplified rose cut diamond, a small diamond chip with perhaps a few polished facets. We do not have the weight of the rose cuts diamonds nor the senailles which is normal in our trade when it comes to rose cut diamonds and senailles.

Precious stones: One natural ruby with an estimated weight of ± 0.39ct.
Treatment: most probably heat treated. Colour enhancement by heat treatment of ruby and sapphire is an accepted technique as long as it is mentioned by the seller.
