San Marino is a microstate, surrounded by Italy. It is among the world's oldest republics. It is famous for the medieval walled old town of its capital, which is also called San Marino. It has a signature sight, that being the Three Towers, which are citadels dating from the 11th century.

On one side of the 1/2" wide coins, (15 total), are the three citadels along with the raised lettering along the edge, "RESPUBLICA SAN MARINO, LIBERTAS". The other side is marked the "REPUBLIC OF SAN MARINO", and bears the crest of the country, which is a design with laurel leaves forming a 3/4 wreath, having a crown at the top. There are no dates on the coins but these bracelets were sold during the 1930s & 40"s.
The bracelet measures 7 3/4" long. The coins have loops on both sides, chained together, and are a silver toned metal. I did not polish them as I know some collectors prefer that we don't and admire the natural patina. The bracelet is very flexible and has a spring ring closure which is in great working order.

This is most likely a souvenir piece of jewelry. We will ship this to you in a gift box. Thank you for looking!
