This beautiful set of sterling demitasse cups have Lenox porcelain liners with marks that date from 1906 to 1930. The liners have a double gilt edging both inside and out. The saucers are marked sterling and have been engraved with the initials KP beneath the cups (easily buffed out on sterling, if you do not want them). The footed cups are decoratively pierced in a classic style and all are marked sterling.
Measurements: Saucers are 3 3/8" in diameter. Cups are 1 5/8" high. Liners are 2 1/8" in diameter and 2" high.
Condition: 5 sets are in perfect, gift-giving condition. Sixth liner has been badly repaired and could easily be replaced with a matching one from a shop that specializes in replacements if you wished. Sixth cup has handle separated from cup at base, but just requires a touch of solder to secure it again. However, it is safely usable in its present state. The price of the set reflects these minor flaws.
This set is exquisite on display and would grace any dinner table.
