Toasts and Anecdotes for all Occasions by Paul W. Kearney. Published by Edward J. Clode, NY, 1923, 299 pages. Hardcover with blue cloth binding with black lettering on the front cover and spine.

The introduction to this book is very informative and tells the history of toasts in different times and societies and how they were carried out.

The section, Historical Anecdotes, is fascinating and surprising with the words of famous people.

These toasts are wonderful, humorous, and sincere. A great book to have on hand when you want to say something, but don't, yourself, have the words.
This is a very scarce book and I have only been able to locate two other copies.

Condition: Fine.with no signs of wear to the cover. Inside is clean, tight and bright with the exception of some few brown spots at the bottom of one page.
