This leather covered wine flash is in the shape of a medieval mace with a bulbous, brass studded head and a wooden handle atop a leather covered shaft. It was a souvenir of San Marino and once held Lacrima Cristi wine. It is 55 + years old.
The flask measures 23 1/4" long. The diameter of the bulbous end is approx. 4". The wooden handle is 7 1/4" long. It also has a carrying strap in leather. It still bears the Wine tag describing the wine maker.
Condition: Although the bottle was never opened (see gold tie in photo), there is no longer any wine in the bottle. It appears to be empty. It could be refilled. The bottom of the wooden handle is split front and back, testifying to its age. Please view all photos to get an accurate description of the condition of this unusual bottle which is sure to attract attention to your bar decor.
