Caroline's Jewelry with a Past is offering a mid-century modern sterling silver ring handmade by studio artist Paul Miller c. 1950. The ring features a comma shape superimposed with a silver tube ending in a round, bezel set, 7.3 mm cabochon glass stone. The comma has a rope twist accent. The ring is 1-3/8" round X 15/16" (maximum dimensions). The shank is asymetrical and is a size 3-3/4. The back is marked "Paul Miller" + "Sterling".

Paul Miller was a studio jeweler in New York City. He was active in the 1950's-1960's. His jewelry is abstract, minimal and frequently, amusing. He was a contemporary of Paul Lobel, Ed Weiner, and other NYC jewelers.

The silver content of this piece has been tested using standard accepted testing methods, such as acid testing. The silver is marked "Sterling".
