Niels Eric From, at aged 23, was a trained silversmith. He opened his shop in 1931 and for the next 40 years, his floral-inspired pieces highlighted Denmark's Arts and Crafts period. His sculptural, modernist pieces became the company's signature styles. The metalwork is simple, lithe and supple. There are obscure details of oxidation, carved out metal, surface etching on many pieces of his work. From's designs are masterful examples of his ability to achieve unique detail and sinuous fluidity in simple forms. (Annotated from "Splendor: A Celebration of Jewelry Designers" by Carlotta STM).
The silver content of this piece has been tested using standard accepted testing methods, such as acid testing. All pieces are marked "Sterling".
