Caroline's Jewelry with a Past is offering a large vintage silver plated "Three Crowns Silversmiths" ladle designed by Royal Arden Hickman in the "Ingrid" pattern c. 1955. There is an applied beaded pattern on the end of the handle of balls in an arc. The ladle can be used as a punch ladle. The bowl on the piece has a double lip. The ladle measures 10.5" handle with the bowl 3" in diameter.

Three Crowns Silversmiths company started in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, and started producing the "Ingrid" line in 1946. The production ended around 1960. The style was designed to resemble a modern, minimalist Swedish piece. The maker's mark consists of three pointed crowns in a triangular configuration. Even the mark was created to be similar to the Swedish sterling mark.
