The pieces are 1-1/4" tall X 1" wide (maximum dimensions). They have clip back fixtures. They are marked "Berridge" + "Handmade" + "Sterling". Together the earrings weigh 8.4 grams.
Ruth Margaret Berridge (1921-2004) New York, New York was a mid-century artist jeweler whose pieces are known for their simplicity, kinetic motion and fluidity. She was from Western Massachusetts and was active during the 50's, 60's and 70's. She never married.
The silver content of this piece has been tested using standard accepted testing methods, such as acid testing. The earrings are marked “Sterling”.
