There are two 11mm X 8mm oval, white, top drilled cultured pearls. The earrings are 2-3/8" long with the hangers, including the pearls. The earring bodies are 1-3/8". They are designed for pierced ears. They weigh 6.6 grams.
Plique a jour is French for "allow light in". The cold enameling technique is applied in cells, similar to cloisonne enamel, but without backing thus allowing light to shine through the transparent enamel.
The silver content of this piece has been tested using standard accepted testing methods, such as acid testing and is guaranteed to be sterling silver.
