Caroline's Jewelry with a Past is offering a pair of mid century modern sterling silver cufflinks c. 1955. An interesting design, these links feature a stepped rectangular inlay stones. The 2 tiers of stones, including jasper, opal, and rock crystal give the illusion of a picture in a frame. The colors used to create the "picture" include hickory brown, pale blue iridescent, creamy white, russet and clear stone. The bottom tier and back are florentined. The pieces have bullet toggle style backs. The cufflinks measures 1-1/8" long X 1/2" inch (maximum dimensions). They weigh 23.6 grams and are marked "T2" + "Sterling".
The silver content of this piece has been tested using standard accepted testing methods, such as acid testing. The silver is marked "Sterling".
When you own vintage jewelry, it may not be perfect with some wear commensurate with age and use. We will note any actual damage. The links show age appropriate tarnish.
